What can 99 days of the Dukan Diet do for you? How about 42 pounds lost for Amada and 33 pounds lost for Damon! #truth

It’s been a few weeks since we were completely up to date on our vlog and blog, and it’s because of a lot of other crazy life issues that came up which you will find out about in the video below. However, one thing brought to light recently that I think deserves some attention was the fact that we actually started the Dukan diet on April 30th, 2014, and we have lost more than what we are claiming…

Last year in December we used a Groupon for this amazing recipe program called E-Meals. They send you a weekly plan of what to eat and where you can get it, and so all you do is print it out and go to the store and use the recipes for whichever plan you choose. We did the low carb options, however it was beginning to be really expensive, and we also were still very hungry, so we went with The Dukan Diet.

I’m not exactly sure how much Damon might have lost, but I remember clear as day getting on a scale at my friend’s house and seeing the weight at 430 pounds, if not more… I actually had thrown out my scale and measuring tape because I had given up on losing weight. So even though in 99 days I have only lost 42 pounds doing the Dukan Diet, I actually have lost around 86 pounds in total. Which is why I added a weight loss ticker to our website.

During our plateau I was trying to see how many calories we were actually taking in, so I joined MYFitnessPal. It’s a FREE food and exercise app that you can put on your phone that can track everything! I find it really helpful because I can tell when I am over calories or under calories and also I know when I last worked out, etc… it keeps you accountable and it’s very simple to use.
